Bizarity: (noun) great unusualness

Introduction

Bizarity is my fandom alter-ego. I used to be Kaymera and had HP fandom people friended under that name. That journal still exists but I rarely post to it anymore. I created her in January 2006 so as to organise my journals a bit better. That means this journal will only contain fandom related content and be in only fandom communities. If you're not interested in the HP fandom I highly reccomend you don't friend my journal as it will bore you to tears. I also have a new personal journal, which is Kayliegirl and a non-HP writing journal which is moonlitquill. This may seem like an excessive number of journals to keep but I like having different places to put things. I'm the same person on all the journals, although Kaymera has a lot of stuff from my whiny teenage phase whereas these new journals are more up-beat.

Personal data

I'm 20 and I live in the UK. I'm studying for an undergraduate English Literature degree. There's not much else to say, really, as I don't post about my real life in this journal. Also, I don't look anything at all like the doll up there - that's just a representation of the slightly more fun/quirky side of me that gets expressed in the fandom world.

Fandom History

I got into the fandom around the same time I really discovered the internet and started out by searching for rumours about the next book, Goblet of Fire. Eventually, I managed to stumble onto a forum and it was from there that I first found fanfiction. One of the first fanfictions I ever read was a Draco/Hermione by Dana Whelks. It wasn't fantastic but I really enjoyed it and that is how I got to read yet more fanfic.

I don't really remember how I got into slash or how I got into the smuttier side of fanfiction but I did. I also managed to get into Roleplaying somewhere along the line.

The Friending Thing

This journal is mostly (entirely?) fandom related and there are almost no Friends Locked entries. If you want to friend me, go right ahead. I'd love to be told about it though, and I may friend you back. I don't promise to friend everyone back though. I want to keep my friendslist mostly fandom-centric. I might friend you on my more RL journal if I find you really interesting, in which case I'll comment telling you it's me.

All my fanfic is backed-up at my Greatestjournal. I'm also working on archving it here at HPFandom.
